Why it's important to speak out and stand up for what you believe in

For anyone who opposes the act of criticising powerful people during a crisis; here’s an example of what speaking out and standing up for what you believe in actually does.

Spurs have U-turned on using the Gov’t furlough, they’ve also given parts of their stadium over to the NHS. This is a direct response to the feedback they got from their constituents (their fans). If we’d just stayed quiet, would any of what’s reported in the below have happened? They’re now following what looks like a much better path.
